Our check-in time begins at 15:00 and onwards. We are pleased to offer self-check-in for your convenience.
Early Arrival: If you happen to arrive earlier and the apartment is available, you are more than welcome to check in upon arrival at no additional cost.

- How do I get to your apartment by public transportation?
Express bus from Vienna International Airport to Vienna take between 25-45 Minutes and cost 8 Euro.

Express railway (CAT – City Airport Train) takes only 16 minutes and leaves approx. every 30 minutes to the center Wien Mitte. The cost is: single: €15, return: €25/person

From “Wien Mitte” to Central Apartments Vienna take the subway line U4 direktion “Huetteldorf” and get off at 2nd stop “Karlsplatz”. Take the exit on your right to “Wiedner Hauptstrasse”. Walk approx. 200 straight along the green buildings of the “Technical University”, to arrive at the 1st crossing and turn to right into Schaurhofergasse. Walk again 100 meters over the crossing “Operngasse” to enter “Faulmanngasse”. 50 meters after the crossing on the Faulmanngasse turn left into the 1st small road = Muehlgasse. The first house is No. 6 is your final destination.
From the West Station (Westbahnhof) take the underground line U6, direction ”Alterlaa” or ”Siebenhirten”. Get out at the 2nd stop, “Laengenfeldgasse”. Change here to subway line U4 and get off at the 4th station, “Karlsplatz”. Take the exit on your right to “Wiednerhauptstrasse”. Arriving from the West Motorway (A 1)
At the end of the motorway (A1) keep on driving straightly until you pass “Castle of Schoenbrunn”; remain on this street and follow the traffic sign “Zentrum” = center. Approximately at the number 56 on Schoenbrunnerstrasse bend to the left direction city center into “Rechte Wienzeile”. Drive straight on. First you come on the” Hamburgerstrasse” and then on “Rechte Wienzeile”. Remain on this street. Almost at the end of this road (“Rechte Wienzeile”) and at the very beginning of the open air market, the Naschmarkt, turn right into the ” Faulmangasse” . The first small road on the right is the Muehlgasse. The first house is No. 6, which is your final destination.
Arriving from the Southern Motorway (A2)
You will enter “Triesterstrasse”. Keep driving straight on on “Triester Strasse”. You will reach “Guertel”. Drive under a railway viaduct, keep straight on and hold the left trace and drive straightforward on the “Reinprechtsdorferstrasse”. You will enter “Schoennbrunnerstrasse”. Turn right. Follow 200 meters the traffic sign “Zentrum” = center and bend to the left, direction of “Rechte Wienzeile”. Drive straight on. First you come on the” Hamburgerstrasse” and then on “Rechte Wienzeile”. Remain on this street. Almost at the end of this road, turn right into the ” Faulmangasse” . Arriving from the Motorway North (A22) from Prague
Keep driving, direction “Zentrum” = “center” until you reach the “Urania building” on your left side. Here you bend right on the very famous “Ringstrasse”. Hold the left trace. At the Vienna “State Opera House” you bend to the left into the “Operngasse”. Keep on the middle track. Bend after the 3rd Traffic light on the right into the ” Faulmangasse”. From Vienna Airport Schwechat on motorway A4 (from Budapest or Slowakia)
Keep on driving on A4 direction to Vienna (about 12 km). Pursue the traffic sign “Zentrum” = center. Bend with ”Urania” to the left. Turn left over a bridge into the famous “Ringstrasse”. Hold the left trace. At the Vienna “State Opera House” you bend to the left into the “Operngasse”. Keep on the middle track. Bend after the 3rd Traffic light on the right into the ” Faulmangasse”. The 1st small road on the left is the Muehlgasse. The first house is No. 6 is your final destination.
- What are the parking regulations in Vienna?
In Vienna short-term parking applies in most districts. The regulations are changing continuously. Therefore please check the official website of the city hall for the current regulation at: Short-term Parking in Vienna
- Do you offer a garage?
While we do not have a dedicated on-site car park, there are two underground car parks conveniently located near our apartments at Muehlgasse 6. You can find these car parks at the corner, namely the University of Technology car park at Operngasse No.13 and the car park at Kuehnplatz. These options provide convenient parking facilities for our guests. You can also park your car up to 1 1/2 to 2 hours (depending on the area) on the streets with designated parking tickets. If you need to park more than 1,5 or 2 hours, we recommend you to park your car in the next car park, as the short-term-parking areas are subject of permanent control by the authorities.
- Where is the apartments located and is there any public transportation nearby?
The building is located nearby to most important attractions and landmarks of Vienna. The central subway station of Vienna is about 3 minutes walking distance to Central Apartments Vienna.
Our comfortably equipped apartments are in a prime location in the city center, within Vienna’s artists’ quarter, next to“Karlsplatz” at the central subway station (lines U1, U2, U4) and at the beginning of the world-famous multicultural Viennese open market the “Naschmarkt” with the “Flea Market” on its end (open only on Saturdays).
You can reach the attractions of Vienna, as well as the business, shopping and entertainment centers just by walking. The famous “Viennese scene” is just about a few minutes walk from our building. Consequently, you can reach any point in the city quickly and easily by the subway from the Central Subway Station “Karlsplatz”. The station with the subway lines U1, U2, U4 is just 5 minutes away from our apartment building.
Objects of cultural interest and landmarks the major sights and landmarks like the Imperial Palace (Hofburg), the Spanish Riding School, St. Stephan’s Cathedral, the “State Opera House”, the “National Theatre”, “Theatre an der Wien“ as well as” the Concert Hall” and Musikverein” and Museum of Fine Arts, Museum of Natural History and Leopold Museums (within “Museums Quarter”) are also within few minutes walking distance. Many further landmarks of the city like the Danube Island, Prater and the Palace of Schoenbrunn and Palace of Belvedere also the UN-Town with Austria Convention Center take a few minute rides (10-15) by the subway.
Shopping & Entertainment Beside a big supermarket, being located around the next corner directly in our building block other shopping possibilities for all kinds of goods for daily needs, hundreds of restaurants & pubs as well as a few banks, a post office, two pharmacies, further supermarkets, a tobacconist and two underground car parks are within 1-3 minutes walking from our location. Moreover, Vienna’s most famous and largest shopping streets, the “Kaerntnerstrasse“ and “Graben” (both pedestrian precincts) and the largest shopping street of the city, “Mariahilferstrasse”, are very close (10 minutes walking distance) to the apartment building.
Universities: The two main buildings of the University of Technology and its library are directly around the corner. The University of Vienna is also 20 minutes away.
