There are only a few minutes to walk from Central Apartments Vienna to the world famous landmarks “Ringstrasse”, State Opera House, the Imperial Palace Hofburg, St. Stephan’s Cathedrale, Spanish Riding School, the Leopold Museum (Museums Quarter), Musikverein, the Concert House, Belvedere Palace and many other attractions of the city.

What time can I check-in?

Our check-in time is 12pm and later.

What time do I need to check-out?

Our check-out time is 10am. If you need to check-out later, we will be able to arrange something.

Do you have a reception?

We do not have a reception at the building. But Mr. or Ms. Voshmgir will be at the apartment to do the check-in with you.

How do I get to your apartment by public transportation?

Express bus from Vienna International Airport to Vienna take between 20-45 Minutes and cost 8 Euro.

Express railway (CAT – City Airport Train) takes only 16 minutes and leaves approx. every 30 minutes to the center Wien Mitte. The cost is: single: €11, return: €17/person

The Intercityexpress (ICE) leaves approx. every 30 minutes to Wien Meidling (26 minutes) and Vienna Main Station (18 minutes)
The cost is: single: €4,40

The Express train S7 leaves approx. every 30 minutes to Vienna Floridsdorf (37 minutes)
The cost is: single: €4,40

Within Vienna

From “Wien Mitte” to Central Apartments Vienna
take the subway line U4 direktion “Huetteldorf” and get off at 2nd stop “Karlsplatz”. Take the exit on your right to “Wiednerhauptstrasse”. Walk approx. 100 straight along the green buildings of the “Technical University”, to arrive at the 1st crossing and turn to right into Schaurhofergasse. Walk again 100 meters over the crossing “Operngasse” to enter “Faulmanngasse”. 50 meters after the crossing on the Faulmanngasse turn left into the 1st small road = Muehlgasse. The first house is No. 6 is your final destination.

From the West Station (Westbahnhof) 
take the underground line U6, direction ”Alterlaa” or ”Siebenhirten”. Get out at the 2nd stop “Laengenfeldgasse”. Change here to subway line U4 and get off at the 4th station “Karlsplatz”. Take the exit on your right to “Wiednerhauptstrasse”. Walk appox. 100 meters straight along the green building to enter “Faulmanngasse”. 50 meters after the crossing on the Faulmanngasse turn left into the 1st small road = Muehlgasse. The first house is No. 6 is your final destination.

From Vienna Main Station (Hauptbahnhof) you rise in the U1 direction “Kagran”. Get off at the 2. Station = “Karlsplatz”. Take the exit “Wiednerhauptstrasse”. Take the exit on your right to “Wiednerhauptstrasse”. Walk appox. 100 meters straight along the green building to enter “Faulmanngasse”. 50 meters after the crossing of on the Faulmanngasse turn left into the 1st small road = Muehlgasse. The first house is No. 6 is your final destination.

How much does a taxi from the airport to your apartment cost?

A taxi ride to Central Apartment Vienna costs about 40 EURO. We are happy to arrange a taxi for you.

How do I get to your apartment by car?

Arriving from the West Motorway (A 1)

At the end of the motorway (A1) keep on driving straightly until you pass “Castle of Schoenbrunn”; remain on this street and follow the trafic sign “Zentrum” = center. Approximatly at the number 56 on Schoenbrunnerstrasse bend to the left direction city centre into “Rechte Wienzeile”. Drive straighton. First you come on the” Hamburgerstrasse” and then on “Rechte Wienzeile”. Remain on this street. Almost at the end of this road (“Rechte Wienzeile”) and at the very beginning of the open air market, the Naschmarkt, turn right into the ” Faulmangasse” . The first small road on the right is the Muehlgasse. The first house ist No. 6, which is your final destination.

Arriving from the Southern Motorway (A2)

You will enter “Triesterstrasse”. Keep driving straighton on “Triester Strasse”. You will reach “Guertel”. Drive under a railway viaduct, keep straight on and hold the left trace and drive straightforward on the “Reinprechtsdorferstrasse”. You will enter “Schoennbrunnerstrasse”. Turn right. Follow after 200 meters the trafic sign “Zentrum” = center and bend to the left direction of “Rechte Wienzeile”. Drive straighton. First you come on the” Hamburgerstrasse” and then on “Rechte Wienzeile”. Remain on this street. Almost at the end of this road turn right into the ” Faulmangasse” . The first small road on the right is the Muehlgasse. The first house ist No. 6, which is your final destination.
Arriving from the Motorway North (A22) from Prague

Keep driving direction “Zentrum” = “center” until you reach teh “Urania building” on you left side. Here you bend right on the very famous “Ringstrasse”. Hold the left trace. At the Vienna “State Opera House” you bend to the left into the “Operngasse”. Keep on the middle track. Bend after the 3rd Traffic light on the right into the ” Faulmangasse”. The 1st small road on the right is the Muehlgasse. The first house is No. 6 is your final destination.
From Vienna Airport Schwechat on motorway A4
(from Budapest or Slowakia)

Keep on driving on A4 direction to Vienna (about 12 km). Pursue the trafic sign “Zentrum” = center. Bend with ” Urania ” to the left. Turn left over a bridge into the famous “Ringstrasse”. hold the left trace. At the Vienna “State Opera House” you bend to the left into the “Operngasse”. Keep on the middle track. Bend after the 3rd Traffic light on the right into the ” Faulmangasse”. The 1st small road on the left is the Muehlgasse. The first house is No. 6 is your final destination.

What are the parking regulations in Vienna?

In Vienna short-term parking applies in most districts. The regulations are changing continuously. Therefore please check the official website of the city hall for the current regulation at: Short-term Parking in Vienna

Do you offer a garage?

Yes, we have limited parking spots available. Furthermore, at the location of our apartments (Muehlgasse 6) there are 2 underground car parks right at the corner (car park of the University of Technology at Operngasse No.13 and car park at Kuehnplatz). The special rate for our guests are approximately 20 EURO per day. For longer parking durations special arrangements are possible. If you need to park more than 1,5 or 2 hours, we recommend you to park your car in the next car park, as the short-term-parking areas are subject of permanent control by the authorities.

Where is the apartments located and is there any public transportation nearby?

The building is located within walking distance to most important attractions and landmarks of Vienna. The central subway station of Vienna is about 3 minutes walking distance to Central Apartments Vienna.

Our comfortably equipped apartments are in a prime location in the city centre, within Vienna’s artists’ quarter, next to“Karlsplatz” at the Central Subway Station (lines U1, U2, U4) and at the beginning of the world famous multi-cultural Viennese open market the “Naschmarkt” with the “Flea Market” on its end (open only on Saturdays).

You can reach the attractions of Vienna, as well as the business, shopping and entertainment centers just by walking. The famous “Viennese scene” is just about few minutes walk from our building. Consequently you can reach any point in the city quickly and easily by the subway from the Central Subway Station “Karlsplatz”. The station with the subway lines U1, U2, U4 is just 3 minutes walking from our apartment building.

Objects of cultural interest and and landmarks The major sights and landmarks like the Imperial Palace (Hofburg), Spanish Riding School, St. Stephan’s Cathedral, the “State Opera House”, the “National Theatre”, “Theatre an der Wien“ as well as” the Concert Hall” and Musikverein” and Museum of Fine Arts, Museum of Museum of Natural History and Leopold Museums (within “Museums Quarter”) are also within few minutes walking distance.
Many further landmarks of the city like the Danube Island, Prater and the Palace of Schoenbrunn and Palace of Belveder also the UN-Town with Austria Convention Centre are in few minute ride (10-15) by the subway.

Shopping & Entertainment Beside a big supermarket, being located around the next corner directly in our building block other shopping possibilities for all kinds of goods for daily needs, hundreds of restaurants & pubs as well as a few banks, a post office, 2 pharmacies, further supermarkets, a tobacconists and 2 underground car parks are within 1-3 minutes walking from our location. Moreover Viennas most famou and largest shopping streets, the “Kaerntnerstrasse“ and “Graben” (both pedestrian precincts) as well as the  the largest shopping street of the city, “Mariahilferstrasse”, are very close (5-10 minutes walking distance) to the apartment building.

Universities The two main buildings of the University of Technology and its library are directly around the corner. The University of Vienna is also within 15 minutes walking distance.
